Eligibilty

The Administrator will process applications for membership that are in accordance with the categories of Identity and Provider Member outlined below:

Identity Members
All organisations that are connected and members of the Israeli NREN (IUCC ILAN network) are eligible to become an Identity Member of the Federation. Organizations of strategic importance to the Federation and the higher education sector will be admitted to the IUCC Identity Federation after consideration by the IIF Governance Committee.

Provider Members
All organisations that are connected and members of the Israeli NREN (IUCC ILAN network) are eligible to become Provider Members of the Federation. Organizations considered by the IIF Governance Committee to be of strategic importance to the Federation and the higher education sector are eligible for successful consideration. Organizations that are contracted to provide services to participating institutions are also eligible to join the IUCC Identity Federation.

Membership Terms
Membership in the IUCC Identity Federation is provided on an annual basis and will be automatically renewed each year on the anniversary date of this Agreement unless the Member gives thirty (30) days notice in writing to the Administrator of the Member’s intention to cease its Membership in the IUCC Identity Federation or in the event that the Agreement is terminated for any pursuant to the provisions of the IUCC Identity Federation Agreement.

Membership of the IUCC Identity Federation does not always grant the Identity Member or its Users an automatic right of access to a Provider Member’s Services.

Provider Members are entitled to require the Identity Member to enter into separate terms and conditions with the Provider Member for access to a Provider Member’s Services.
